Paddle on Phewa Lake and the World Peace Pagoda

Wow wat a few days. Well firstly the weather has been fairly shit for the past few days with constant heavy rain and no sign if it lettin up. Was killer because we couldn't do anything at all without getting soaked in like two minutes flat out there, but hey in the spirit of things we didn't let that phase us at all and we went and rented a paddle boat and got out onto the lake here in Pokhara. Was awesome, we paddled the whole way to the other side of the lake or well wat felt like Up the river to Laos. Was good fin to get out there and away from the bustle of Lakeside and to have peace in the middle of the lake. Down the other end of the lake we docked the boat and walked about in the paddys and met a local girl. Pretty sure she thought we were Martians. Today then we woke up and , guess wat, it was rainin again. FUN FUN. After breakfast tho it cleared up alot and we decided that it would be our best chance to climb the 1200m to the World Peace Pagoda. My god the views were just amazing from up there. Out over the lake and way up into the mountain range behind. Felt like it was about 40 degrees climbing up to it but was worth the effort and the dehydration. The photos don't do it justice but still look amazin so will thruw them up in the next day or so. Peace Out.
